At tonight's HIGHLAND COALITION meeting at the FORD SCHOOL Councilman Trahant came to our meeting tonight to hear the concerns of local residents who are members of our group.
One story in particular caught the councilman's attention. That was of a renter who told stories of rats, roaches, and bed bugs. There was even the story about the pouring of oil where it should not have been spilled.
Taking names and numbers Councilman Trahant promised swift action promising to have someone from ISD out at the address tomorrow to inspect the site and call the absentee landlord (Malden) to come fix the problem.
HOPEFULLY, HE WILL FOLLOW THROUGH AND THE TENANT WILL RECEIVE QUICK ACTION.
