Was touring Ward 4 this morning with HIGHLANDS COALITION member and WARD 4 CANDIDATE FOR WARD 4 CITY COUNCILMAN, CEF ROSA and we discovered some troubling information and interesting parallels.
With the sagging economy, many of the historic old homes that have been turned into rental property with absentee landlords that have lost the properties due to FORECLOSURE. Consequently these abandoned houses become a haven for gangs, drugs, and rats. The structures often fall into disrepair and pose a safety hazard to the neighborhood. Now one of the inspectors charged with enforcing the building code happens to be the brother of the current Ward 4 Councilman, Rich Collucci. It's at least an interesting correlation.
Once elected WARD 4 COUNCILMAN, CEF ROSA, will bring with him his years of experience both in the HOUSING and ZONING COMMISSIONS in Chelsea. All of Lynn, not just Ward 4, will benefit from CEF'S past resume. He will play a vital role in the city government of all of LYNN but WARD 4 will be able to call him their own.
