No the British aren't coming, but foreigners did invade Lynn this fourth of July weekend. Drum Corps from Atlanta, North Carolina, Wisconsin and elsewhere came to Lynn to compete with the Boston Crusaders to compete in DCI's (Drum Corp International) Beanpot Invitational.
The battleground was Manning Field at the base of the Highlands.

Boston came in third in the competition but we still beat a team from New Jersey. Well that is kind of like New York. after all, "Don't the Jets play in New Jersey?". Scores from last night's battle can be found at:
